I recently flew to Las Vegas for an internet marketing event held by Mark Hoverson inside of the beautiful Palazzo hotel. It was a wonderful event and had a chance to meet so great people. I look forward to heading back to Las Vegas for another event. If you are anything like me, you search and search…and search some more…for the best possible deal you can find on flights. I have found the perfect site to help you find the cheapest flight tickets to your next event vacation. Continue Reading

About a week before Michael Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009, I really started to take note of how much my friends on Facebook were using the social networks to really express and share their thoughts and feelings towards loved one who have passed. I found it to be very healthy and meaningful that people felt so comfortable with social media that they could open up about something that is so personal for most people. When someone is looking to show their love and share their memories of a lost loved one, they turn to the internet and their hundreds or thousands of friends for that medium.
I was inspired. For the next 7 days I worked around the clock programming a Facebook Application that would allow Facebook users to create memorials directly on Facebook, write editorials, upload photos, and share their memory instantly with all of their family and friends. I called the application, Mournwatch.com‘s Facebook Memorial Application. Users of the application can create unlimited amount of memorials and place a single memorial right on their profile or create a profile box tab and show all of them. The application is completely free and coincides with it’s full featured Online Memorials website, http://mournwatch.com/.
Visit the Facebook Application I built @ http://apps.facebook.com/mournwatch/. You can browse and read guest books of celebrities and pets too. This is an application that has flooded my inbox with praising feedback which I am thankful for so I encourage you to check it out. Thanks and bless you.

Facebook drops Fan Pages for Liking a page. Below I have relayed the source. Check it out. Then tell me what YOU think here –> What do you think of the new Like button on Facebook Pages?
Why did “Become a Fan” change to “Like”?
To improve your experience and promote consistency across the site, we’ve changed the language for Pages from
“Fan” to “Like.” We believe this change offers you a more light-weight and standard way to connect with people, things and topics in which you are interested.
What does it mean to “Like” a Page?
When you click “Like” on a Page, you are making a connection to that Page. The Page will be displayed in your profile, and in turn, you will be displayed on the Page as a person who likes that Page. The Page will also be able to post content into your News Feed.
Can I still “Like” a News Feed story about my friends Liking Pages?
No. When you see a Feed story about a friend Liking a Page, there will be no feedback links below that story. However, if you hover over the Page name, you will see a small preview of the Page and the number of other people who have also Liked that Page. You can then Like that Page to add it to your profile, or you can click through to the Page itself.

Today is April 8th, 2010 and I was wondering how much the Facebook numbers have grown. I hadn’t check in a while due to a busy schedule but I thought I would take a peek this morning and share the numbers with all of my visitors. Below I have typed out the Facebook Statistics to give you a better idea the power house Facebook really is and what kind of potential you have by establishing a strong presence within this social networking phenomenon.
- More than 400 million active users
- 50% of our active users log on to Facebook in any given day Continue Reading

Some people wonder if all this social networking is really making us more social — we’re just sitting in front of our computers, after all. But Facebook, the web’s largest social network, plays host to 3 million event listings each month. And these are offline events, ranging in size from small, friendly get-togethers, to company picnics, to enormous political protests.
In the past, getting the word out about an event, even if you only intended to invite your close circle of friends, meant a lot of work getting on the phone or emailing invitees individually, coordinating RSVPs, or even hanging up flyers. Facebook though, allows you to quickly create an event listing, invite people, and then watch word of the event spread virally out from your network of contacts (if you choose to allow it). This guide will show you how to successfully run an event on Facebook.

WordPress’ Jane Wells released last night a beta version of another much anticipated version of WordPress, 3.0. Although this is an early beta version, it shows that there are some really awesome new features to be released soon.
New Default Theme: The developers at Automattic (parent company of WordPress.com) have added a new default theme called Twenty Ten (I am guessing it’s a name sake for this year). It will include custom background and header options. This should make things a little easier for novice users.
Custom Menus: The version will now have the ability to customize and change the look of the Dashboard (Back Office) giving you more control over… Continue Reading
