I hate hate hate to see the blog home page display the last 10 blog posts from start to finish. Don’t scare your visitors off because they can’t find an article that is actually interesting to them. Only show excerpts of your latest blog posts on your homepage and let them quickly find the ones the wants to read!

I agree though. Showing excerpts is definitely more reader friendly. I usually don’t go back to a site that doesn’t utilize this easy plugin. Good explanation of how to use it.

Great post and I really enjoyed it. You’ve really got it dead on especially with explaining the con’s of having a MILE long homepage (visitor-wise and SEO a.k.a. Google-wise). Newbies unintentionally do it, I know I have some time ago :)
