Blogging For Passive Income

Earn passive income with your blog

One of the biggest appeal to having a blog is the opportunity to earn passive income. Passive income is income that you earn while not actively working. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t take any work to start earning passive income.

There are many ways, directly and indirectly, to monetize your blog. Nearly all of them earn you passive income. Building a passive income from blogging does require work though..at least to get things going. Then, regular maintenance and update to keep the passive income recurring.

Passive Income Blogging

Ever heard the phrase, “Make money while you sleep”?

It doesn’t happen overnight and you are required to develop ways to keep a constant follow of traffic to your blog. Regular updates and keeping your blog engaging are near fool-proof ways to keep your traffic levels high. With many new bloggers, the ideas for content come easily. However, as you being to run shy of new content to write about, it becomes harder and harder to keep up with new articles. In addition, there are many other aspects to keeping your blog ‘alive’, like comment management, software updates, search engine optimization, site backups, and more.

Final Thought

Making money blogging isn’t always fun. Like most things, if you do something for money, it usually because less and less fun and more like a chore or a job. Blogging is no different. New bloggers receive their first blog and they are pumped to start writing their articles but they usually fades. I suggest always treating your blog like a hobby and the passive income it earns as a perk. This might sound silly but getting burnt out on blogging is the #1 blog killer. When you treat your blog like a hobby or something that you love to do, then it stays fun and a way for you to express what’s on your mind, rather than just another paycheck for doing some work.

Hi Clifton Yes I agree with what you said on your blog, money doesn't come over night like whallaa after you wake up you wake up having millions , I'm just a starter and I'm currently working on a life blog http://abouthardyshultz.com with a pen name Hardy Shultz and I'm planning to monetize the site ,, However I also love to use the tools that most of these one night millionaire gurus claimed,, most of these tools and plug ins are effective some I would say not that effective.

Hi Clifton, I have to say that I enjoyed your materials a great deal and admire your passion and success. I have been blogging since March 2011 and have managed to maintain 32 blogs in the health related niche and by using a piece of sotware I have been fortunate enough to collect videos, articles and rss feeds with ease to manually upload to each blog. As a result I now find myself dominating page 1 of google positions 1,2,3 with a totally unrelated niche than I had originally intended to get involved with namely xbox which had obviously come about as a result of implementing the keywords (infections, infection)etc. I find it so exciting to look in my hostgator c.panel on a regular basis and witness my visitors now over 1000 per day and 70% are unique but having said all this apart from a couple of quid from adsense ads I wish to now take this to the next level and fully monetize from my efforts. Clifton I would be extremely grateful if you would kindly point me in the right direction by suggesting the best way to go about this and in addition to this I would of course be more than happy to joint venture with you if at all interested. I would be sincerely grateful if you could please reply to me at your earliest convenience to my email below. Kind regards. James Law. seaspray2000@aol.com
