How To Add Text Links To WordPress Widget

Utilize more of your blog

An under utilized tool within your blog is Links. You can use this function of WordPress to categorize and organize your links and easily display them within your Widget areas. Some great examples of ways to use your Links would be to exposure your visitors to affiliate programs through text advertising, recommend your favorite blogs, or keep some static links in your side bar to some of your most popular blog posts.

Clifton, Great Video training! I'm an Internet Marketing Coach and haven't even implemented link yet on my blog! There is so much to learn. I just assumed it was a Plug In that I hadn't added yet. You know something Clifton? I have pretty much forgotten about that link feature in Wordpress. I rarely use blogroll links. I just edit the sidebar.php file to manually insert the links where I want them. Sometimes I use the text widget and then insert the HTML in there. I don't know why I developed this habit. Yeah, I often try SO hard to think of productive and useful video tutorials to make about using WordPress that I often forget about the little simple things that may be overlooked by other bloggers. Thanks for checking it out and yes, it's so much easier than hardcoding anything! :)
