Who Am I?

Clifton and Ashley Hatfield

My wife and I enjoying glasses of wine.

Hey everyone. If you have found my blog, then you may already know who I am. For those of you that don’t know me personal, I’ll give you a some information about my background and interests.

How I got started.

Did you know that I have been a web developer since 2004? Six years ago I joined a start up company with two other guys and I did most of the important stuff like getting coffee and picking up lunch. Only after a few months, one of them was ‘let go’ and that same morning I was put in charge. Imagine that, one day I’m getting lunch and the next morning I am  running the ‘show’ (Check out my office).

Over the next six years, I have built membership sites with over 400,000 members and growing. I’ve created Facebook Applications, one of which has over 90,000 users. I am a co-founder of the EmpoweredBlogs.com Blog Service and the developer behind the Empowered Theme for Internet Marketing. Those are only a few of the things I have  been able to accomplish before my 28th birthday.

Who I am.

I am a family man. At 28, I am married to a beautiful woman who is a wonderful mother to our son. We live in a small village in southwest Ohio where I spent most of the days growing up.  After graduating high school, I went to the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology for Multimedia.  I spent 6 years in the Ohio Army National Guard in the 2-107th Armored Cavalry and one year serving in Kosovo as a part of the KFOR NATO operations. I have traveled the planet and been to several exotic places and absorbed many cultures that fill our world. Socializing has become a method I use to expand my networking abilities.

What I do.

Since the late 90s, I have been surfing the web and using it to meet, chat, and befriend new people. The exponential growth of social network giants like MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook has launched this industry into orbit and it is not coming down for a very long time…if ever. Now I have fallen in love with online social networking and as a professional web developer, I decided to share what I have learned with you.

Where I am today.

I’m no different than anyone else. My life has been a roller coaster of highs and lows but when the ride is over, I know that I will come off with a smile. In the moment, my wife and I have a beautiful little family with our son, Cash. We live in a beautiful home in the Midwest, drive three cars, and the best part about it is that we are in love and able to do things together on regular basis. With the total support of my parents, family, friends and especially my blogging wife, I’ve reached goals and grown to success I once dreamed about.  Thank you everyone, I love you so much.

Clifton, I really enjoyed reading about your life, your family and where you live. After all it is all about the relationships we create in life. You put a personal face on what sometimes can get lost in online marketing. Thanks so much. Faith
